Michael Feder is a creative executive with extensive start-up experience. He is highly skilled at strategy, business formulation, brand building, business development, sales, operations and other tools of the start-up trade.
Born in New York City, Michael performed his undergraduate work at Clark University (Worcester, Mass.) where he was a University Scholar. A serious collegiate athlete, Michael completed the 1982 Ironman World Triathlon in Hawaii, as well as the Boston Marathon. He went to Law School at Tulane University, where he was an International Moot Court Competition Finalist and then finished his education at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School where he was an MBA Fellow and Dietz Scholar.
Michael co-founded Fame Farm LLC, a strategic marketing and branding firm specializing in licensing. Fame Farm created the acclaimed licensing campaign for the Liberace Foundation and creates and executes branding strategies for a wide spectrum of corporate and celebrity clients.
Michael is also a co-founder of Waiting Room Theater (www.WaitingRoomTheater.com), a media company providing programming for 3,000 dental offices. He serves as Chief Marketing Officer for Personal Health Insights, a high tech startup created by the founders of Personal Health Technologies.
In his personal creative life, he has written, sold and, or, produced projects for television and film, and is the author of Olive Parrot Shares Her Birthday and co-author, with his wife Karan, of five book titles.
Michael has a long history of service to nonprofit organizations. He was a founding director of A Window Between Worlds which brings art expression to battered women’s shelters, and is currently is a founding Board Member of the Southern Nevada Parrot Rescue Society, a 501C3 which rescues and places parrots for adoption in the Southern Nevada region.
